Ghanatennis.org can exclusively confirm that a list which comprises 5 players and a coach have been submitted to ITF for this year's Davis Cup.
Africa Zone IV Davis Cup is scheduled from Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29 July in Rwanda's capital-Kigali.
Ghana's Davis Cup team has three foreign players, US-based trio: Abraham Asaba, Isaac Nortey and Herman Abban and two local-based players, Samuel Antwi and Desmond Ayaaba and team captain who doubles as head coach Frederick Egyir.
The other Teams heading to Rwanda include those from Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Kenya, Nigeria and Mozambique.
There will be two round-robin groups of four, and the top 3 in each group cross over in promotional play-offs and two will be promoted. The bottom 2 in each group cross over in relegation play-offs and two will be relegated.
