Switzerland's Chelsea Fontenel; who participated in the April 2019 Tennis Foundation Ghana Accra ITF J5 tournament in Accra and won trophy in the girls doubles event with Belgium's Chyara Onia Seke won her first Grand Slam game at the ongoing French Open juniors.
The 16-year-old recently received the "Player of the Year" award from her tennis academy IMG in Florida for the second time in a row, lost the first set 4-6 but bounced back to win the second and final set against Ukraine's Sabina Zeynalove (4-6,6-4,6-4).
Chelsea Fontenel who doubles as a singer will face Polina Kudermetova from Russia in the second round of the competition.
