Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) on Wednesday held a one- day coaching seminar for tennis coaches and administrators at the Accra Sports Stadium media center.
A total of 45 participants from Kumasi, Ho, Winneba and Accra took part in the coaching seminar which was steered by ITF level 3 coach Albert Arthur and currently with ITF East Africa training center, Kenya. The course is expected to impact Ghana tennis greatly since most of the participating coaches and administrators are involved in the game of tennis.
ITF Coach Albert in an interview with ghanatennis.org said the essence of the conference was to improve, understand and share experiences among coaches.
He added that "the seminar will provide the opportunity for the coaches to collect, exchange repertoire of knowledge and information regarding tennis development.
Bernard Ashitey Armaah who represented the coaches thanked TFG for such an initiative and suggested such programs will help a lot.
