Billie Jean King Cup: Ghana Female Team set for home Return 

Team Ghana will return home after participating in the just ended Billie Jean King Cup competition in Lithuania on Wednesday 23rd June 2021. 

Ghana Tennis Federation President Isaac Aboagye Duah (AbE), informed ghanatennis.org that, the female team will depart from Lithuania on Tuesday and land in Ghana Wednesday morning.

Annette Cruickshank, Grace Tomegah and Mckorley sisters (Naa and Shika) became the first ever Ghanaian women's team to participate in the Billie Jean King Cup Tourney.

Their appearance at the Women's tennis World Cup ended with 4 losses to Armenia, Ireland, Iceland, and Namibia, respectively. The team's final match earned them their first ever match win in the tournament which was against Namibia but was short lived as they lost the second singles game and the doubles event.
