Johnson Acquah reaches Tennis Super Cup Semifinals Edging Out Benjamin Fumi 

Top seed Johnson Acquah booked his ticket into the Tennis Super Cup semifinals after beating 2020 Accra Open Champion Benjamin Fumi 6-1, 6-3 on Thursday at the National Tennis Centre, Accra.

Johnson will next play Felix Hammond who progressed into the semifinals by beating Nigeria's Onyeka Mbanu 7-5, 6-1 in an hour and 20 minutes.

Other quarter finals results are: No.2 seed Samuel Antwi into semifinals after overcoming experienced Bernard Ashitey Armaah 6-2, 5-7, 6-1 in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Speaking to ghanatennis.org  Samuel Antwi said: "it was a tough game but am happy to come up as the winner, I pray I get my rhythm tomorrow against one of the toughest opponents (Japheth Bagerbaseh).  Am really impressed with the organization of the tournament and for the first time we the players are served with lunch"

The 2021 Accra Open champion, Antwi will face 2020 National Ranking Tour 4 champion Japheth Bagerbaseh who got into the semifinals beating Reginald Okantey 7-5, 6-1.
