Unseeded Desmond Ayaaba called it the best week of his tennis life after causing an upset over No.2 seed  Johnson Acquah on Friday at the National Tennis Centre, Accra.

Baboo Sports Academy star, Desmond Ayaaba landed the first professional title of his career after turning into pro this year, with a thumping 6-3,5-4 (R) win over No.2 seed Johnson Acquah.

Desmond, who did not drop a set throughout the competition, needed just one hour and 11 minutes to win a one-sided match against Johnson.

Desmond won the first set with an early break and maintained his run to win the first set 6-3. Desmond squanded a chance to serve out the match at 5-4 but still wrapped up the final in one hour, 34 minutes.

Tema-based Desmond said, he had experienced an "unbelievable week, "I can't describe the feelings right now. "I'm overwhelmed by so many emotions.

"It's incredible I'm able to be in the position I am, and I think we both deserved to be in the final and put on a wonderful fight and an amazing show.' Desmond added.
