KEAK Serve organizers of the maiden edition of the Junior Masters Series Open on Saturday, 30th April 2022 at the Reach Tennis Club, Tantra Hills, Accra.
 
The one-day championship will give the opportunity to Ghana's future tennis prospects, who fall within the ages of 14 to 16 years, to showcase their skills in the sports which many consider being the discipline which will put the country on the world map.
 
Speaking to ghanatennis.org the tournament organiser Mr. Kofi Eghan Ekuban said, tennis around the world is booming both as a sport and business, in Ghana we have many talents in the game of tennis, but we don't organize many tournaments for the juniors that's why we decided as a group with support from Reach Tennis Club to start this program and improve tennis at the Junior level.
 
Mr. Eghan Ekuban added the tournament will be in both male and female categories for Under-12, and Under-16 categories and prizes at stake for the youngsters will include tennis equipment and educational scholarships.
 
President of Reach Tennis Club, Mr. Richard Appietu said: he was hopeful the tournament was going to be exciting and committed to the development of talent in the sport in the country.
