Michael Nortey Tennis and Educational Foundation on the 23rd January 2024 donated shoes, bags, and books to the junior tennis players and cluster of schools at Ntranoa-Elmina.
The donation was led by the President of the Foundation, Michael Nortey with support from the assembly member of Ntranoa Hon. Owusu Boahen. Also present were Executive members of Central Region Tennis Association, Madam Afumwaa, coach Eric Tetteh Nartey and resident coach Hayford Gyesi.
Speaking after the donation, President Michael Nortey said, I was really touched when coach Hayford sent me pictures of the kids. Coming here myself to see things motivated me to do more.
I want to thank Sydney Katz family for the continued support to our Foundation especially the children at Ntranoa- Elmina they are truly grateful. Central Regional Tennis Association Executive Member, Madam Afumwaa said , we would like to thank Michael Nortey and his Foundation for the support which went to support the cluster of schools around.
I also want to thank Mr. Roger Crawford of Tennis Foundation Ghana for having the vision to set up a tennis court here for the people of Ntranoa.
