Accra Sports Tennis Club (ASTC) inaugurated its new executives at the National Tennis Centre, Accra.
The new executives will steer the affairs of the Club for the next few years.
Following the club's election in December 2024, Nii Marmah Sankah Esq was elected President alongside Alex Koranteng as the vice president.
Seth Kotey alias Alhaji took the Treasure position, Emmanuel Botchwey Alia Dollar elected as the Organizing Secretary while Marjorie Tettehkie becomes the club’s Secretary.
Ghana Tennis Federation Vice Cedric Dzelu acted on behalf of the GTF President to swear the club executives into office at a colorful ceremony.
Mr. Dzelu mentioned that the GTF president sends his warmest regards and felicitations to the newly elected executives and their commitment to serving this noble club. He asked to convey this message to you: this place is the epicenter of tennis. The club should undertake necessary measures to cultivate these young talents again or revive its heyday.
The newly elected president, Nii Marmah Sankah Esq., stated in his acceptance speech that during his term, he will provide career guidance to ball boys and young tennis players, collaborate with coaches to enhance performance, upgrade washroom facilities and courts, and promote membership and coaching welfare.
