Nana Osei Bunsu, also known as MC Okokobioko, emerged victorious in the 2025 International Tennis Day celebration Trainee’s Tourney tournament held at the Dome Club. He delivered an impressive performance to outmaneuver his opponent, Kwasi Owusu Antwi, in the final match.
The final event was attended by distinguished guests, including Ghana Tennis Federation President Isaac Aboagye Duah, former Ghana skipper Stephen Appiah, and multimedia presenter Maximus Mensah, also known as Dr. Pounds.
The final match witnessed two hours of intense tennis rallies from both players. Ultimately, Nana Osei Bunsu secured the win with a score of 6-2, 7-6(3).
In a post-match interview, Nana Osei Bunsu expressed his elation at lifting the trophy. He extended his gratitude to his opponent, Kwasi Owusu, for pushing him to his limits. Additionally, he thanked the club organizers for hosting the event.
In a separate exhibition match, former Black Stars skipper Stephen Appiah took on multimedia presenter Maximus Mensah, also known as Dr. Pounds, and emerged victorious with a score of 9-4.
