Ghana women's tennis team lost their second group match against Armenia at the ongoing Billie Jean King Cup on Wednesday in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Earlier on, the team lost their opening group matches against Ireland both in the singles and doubles.
Team Ghana will face Iceland who have also lost two of their group matches to Irelend and Armenia.
In the singles match, Ghana's Grace Tomegah put the team in front after producing a resilient display in the 1st set 6-3 but could not maintain her fine form and lost the second and third sets 0-6, 0-6 respectively to Armenia's Milena Gevorgyan.
Naa Skika Mckorley also lost her game to Armenia's Muradyan Irena 0-6,0-6.
In the doubles event, the team just couldn't find the edge to go past the Armenian side as Naa Anyema Mckorley partnered Annette Cruickshank to lose1-6,0-6 to Gabriella Akopyan and Arevik Tumanyan.
