Bridget Nartey and Stacy Mensah Jet Out to Abuja For 2024 ITF WTC Qualifiers 

Ghanaian pair, Bridget Nartey and Stacy Konadu Mensah departed from Accra on Sunday to participate in the 2024 BNP Paribas World Tennis Cup Wheelchair Tennis Africa qualifiers at the Tennis Centre at Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

 They will take part in the singles and doubles events which will begin on Wednesday 7th and end on the Sunday, 11th February 2024. Ghana Tennis Federation executive board members facilitated their participation. 

Coordinator of Ghana Wheelchair Tennis, Henry Larbi who doubles as the executive board member of GTF, Henry Larbi said - 'the GTF President and the GTF Board  believe the intense residential training camp for the women's team at the Koforidua Tennis Club will make the players ready for the tough challenge they will face from countries like South Africa, Morocco, and Nigeria who are in the same group with Ghana.'

 Team captain Bridget Nartey also said, 'we are very excited to participate in the BNP Paribas tournament for Ghana. The moral is high and hope we can qualify and make the country proud.'
