Agarwal/Patel face Verma/Virani in World Tennis Tour Juniors J100 Boys' Doubles final

Accra, Ghana — India's Mannan Ashok Agarwal and Dev Vipul Patel have booked their place in the Boys' Doubles (BD) final at the World Tennis Tour Juniors J100 Accra – Tennis Foundation Ghana Open.

The top-seeded Indian duo secured their place in the championship match with a convincing 6-3, 6-2 victory over USA’s David Beckles [3] and China’s Ziao Qian.

Agarwal and Patel controlled the contest from the opening set, maintaining their momentum to complete a straight-sets victory and move one step closer to the J100 title.

Standing between the Indian pair and the championship trophy will be the second-seeded combination of Om Verma [2] of India and Zayyan Virani of Kenya.

Verma and Virani also produced a strong semi-final performance, defeating Spain’s Javier Montes Jimenez and Raul Sanchez Romero 6-3, 6-2 to reach the final.

The result sets up an all-international final featuring players from India and Kenya, with the top two seeded pairs meeting for the Boys’ Doubles title in Accra.

The J100 tournament at the National Tennis Centre has brought together junior players from across the world, providing valuable international competition and ranking points on the World Tennis Tour Juniors circuit.

The Tennis Foundation Ghana Open is hosted by Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) under the auspices of the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF).

The Boys’ Doubles final will see Agarwal and Patel attempt to convert their top-seeded status into the title against Verma and Virani, who will be looking to complete their own impressive run through the draw.
