Ghana's Emmanuel Mensah popular known as "Alhaji" in Ghanaian Tennis circles last weekend won the United States Professional Tennis Association's Bob Bacon Pro of the Year Award in San Diego, California, USA.
Emmanuel's Director of Tennis, Joel Myers also won the Ben Press Pro of the year award for 2021.
Alhaji who has played 25 Davis Cup Ties for Ghana is inarguably one of the best Pros from Ghana.
Tennis Foundation Ghana President, Roger Crawford through a phone call congratulated Emmanuel on winning the prestigious award. He said;" we are all proud of you and the work you continue to do to keep flying the flag of Ghana higher and laying a solid foundation to inspire future generations."
