Denzell Darkey, Jeff Frimpong Face Spanish Duo in J30 Accra Boys' Doubles Final

Great Britain's Denzell Darkey and Ghana's Jeff Frimpong will face Spain's Javier Montes Jimenez and Raul Sanchez Romero, the No. 3 seeds, in the Boys' Doubles final of the ongoing J30 Accra – Tennis Foundation Ghana Open on the ITF World Tennis Junior Tour.
The final is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at the National Tennis Centre at the Accra Sports Stadium, with play set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
Darkey and Frimpong secured their place in the final after a closely contested 7-6(4), 6-4 victory over Nigeria’s Chukwuduben Amasiani and Israel’s Yarden Shalom Gamilel in the semifinals.
Their Spanish opponents, Javier Montes Jimenez and Raul Sanchez Romero, seeded No. 3, booked their place in the final with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over USA’s David Beckles and Nigeria’s Seyi Ebenezer Ogunsakin.
The final promises to be an exciting battle between the British-Ghanaian partnership and the experienced Spanish duo as they compete for the J30 Accra Boys’ Doubles title.
The tournament is being organised by Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) under the auspices of the Ghana Tennis Federation.
