Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) on Tuesday the 9th of February 2023 donated ITF tennis equipment to some selected regions, clubs, and foundations, the first ever such donation made by the GTF in this year.
Northern Upper East and Upper West regions were among the beneficiaries, along with the PM Sports Foundation, Shishijee Shade Sports Foundation and St, Francis Tennis Academy. They received tennis rackets, tennis balls and mini-tennis court nets.
The items were presented by GTF board member Jesse Ato Debordes. Speaking to ghanatennis.org, Mr.Jesse Ato Deboardes said the Federation wants to expand tennis activities across the country and these foundation and regions needed such items. He added that other regions and foundations will be looked at in the next shipment of items.
Coach Francis Mainoo thanked the Federation for the equipment.
