Ghana's Raphael Nii Ankrah who seeded number three, is through to the third round of the International Tennis Federation's (ITF) J4 Nairobi tournament in Kenya after beating unseeded Jonathan Frost from Israel 6-1, 6-3.
Nii Ankrah had a bye in the first round before facing Jonathan in the second round of the competition.
Nii Ankrah will take on number 14 seed Charles Chen from China in the third game on court 1.
16-year-old Nii Ankrah in the first week of the tournament won the doubles with partner Burundi's Allan Gatoto and also got into the singles' semifinal.
However, Abubakari Yakubu after getting a bye in the first round, lost to his opponent Denmark's, Tristan Thomas Engelschmidt 6-3,4-6,6-1in the second round.
