Tennis Foundation Ghana(TFG) is officially the sole distributor of HEAD Tennis products in Ghana and other parts of West Africa.
This was made public after TFG signed a "Comfort Contract" with the Global Tennis equipment giant. Speaking to ghanatennis.org from the HEAD World Headquarters in Kennelbach, Austria sales manager of HEAD Tennis, Martina Hauser said, "HEAD is an international company and as a global top player in RQS business, we are always looking for new collaborations to be present in all of the markets out there. We are very happy that our products are also going to be available in Ghana and we do see a lot of potential in this market".
"Together with our distributors and official partners who have the unique right to sell HEAD products, we try to offer the best possible range to cover the needs of players, coaches and teams.
Ghana becomes the 2nd West African and 6th African country to be associated with the Head brand.
TFG President Mr.Roger Crawford said "we are happy to have HEAD on board to support our efforts in Ghana." He indicated that similar agreements have been signed with Wilson and Nike. Mr. Crawford added:" as I promised last year, we intend to flood the tennis market in Ghana with affordable equipment and apparel. We cannot make champions without easy access to equipment and apparel. This will also create jobs for older tennis players thereby enhancing the overall tennis economy. "
TFG through its Second Serve Tennis Shop at the Accra Stadium will distribute Tennis equipment and apparel among others to the various clubs in Ghana and the sub Region.
