Golden Racket Jets Off to Cameroon for Davis Cup Zone IV Championship

The National tennis team, Golden Rackets left Accra on Saturday, 23rd of July 2022 for Cameroon to participate in the Africa Zone IV Davis Cup qualification.
The team consist of 4 players made of three local based players Samuel Antwi, Johnson Acquah and Regiomlad Okantey and US based Isaac Nortey with Head coach Frederick Egyir who doubles as the team captain.
Ghana will be competing with host nation Cameroon, Nigeria, Gabon, Senegal, Burundi, Ethiopia and Mauritius for a place at the 2022 World Group III Play-offs.
Speaking to ghanatennis.org head coach Frederick Egyir said, am assuring Ghanaians that, the team is poised to qualifier to Euro/Africa Zone III.
