Accra Open Junior League Match day 6  continues this weekend

Another weekend is here and the Accra Open Junior League is set to continue at the National Tennis Center. As confirmed by the organizers of the Accra Open, all the four games for week 6 are coming as scheduled.

League leaders Winneba Sports Club takes on Tesano Sports Club. Both clubs have won their 5 matches and have 15 points each. This will be the biggest match for the weekend.

Currently, third on the Accra Open Junior League table, St. Francis Academy from Ashaiman will face Korle Bu Tennis Club. St. Francis Tennis Academy stand favorite going into the game. Korle-Bu Tennis Club has not been in the best of form after managing only two wins in five games. Stadium 2 will face off Stadium 1 in the local derby. Both teams have had some churned results last week. Stadium 2 hopes to leapfrog St. Francis Tennis Academy in the league table.

Stadium 3 hopes to add more wounds to the Ghana Tennis Club, Adabraka, who are not in excellent form.

Speaking to ghanatennis.org tournament organizer Coach Henry Quansah said, I am very impressed with the level of play by the junior tennis players. Few players have been spotted and after the league they will called into the junior national team.

I want to use this opportunity to thank tennis philanthropist Amoako Boafo for his continuous support to the junior tennis league.
