India's Om Verma [6] produced a commanding performance on Saturday, October 3, 2026, defeating last week's champion, American David Beckles [4], 6-3, 6-3 to claim the Boys' Singles title at the World Tennis Tour Juniors J100 Accra – Tennis Foundation Ghana Open.

Verma controlled the final from the opening stages, combining consistency and attacking tennis to overcome Beckles in straight sets at the National Tennis Centre, Accra Sports Stadium.

Beckles, who had captured the previous week’s junior title in Accra, entered the final with confidence after another impressive run through the tournament. However, Verma maintained his composure and converted his opportunities to secure a convincing victory.

The sixth-seeded Indian’s 6-3, 6-3 triumph capped an impressive week in Accra and earned him the prestigious J100 boys’ singles crown.

The victory also underlined the competitive standard of the Tennis Foundation Ghana Open, which has attracted junior players from several countries to Accra as they compete for valuable international ranking points and experience on the World Tennis Tour.

For Beckles, the result brought another strong campaign in Accra to an end, while Verma celebrated a memorable title-winning performance on Ghanaian soil.

Om Verma is the 2026 J100 Accra Boys’ Singles champion.
