The highly anticipated West African showdown is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at the National Tennis Centre at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the final set to begin at 9:00 a.m.

Last week’s champion, Gwendolyn Duvor Klu, will be aiming to retain her title after another impressive run through the tournament.

The Ghanaian secured her place in the final after defeating Israel’s Shira Dvir 6-3, 6-4 in the Girls’ Singles semifinal.

She will, however, face a determined Goodnews Eyinjuoluwa Aina, who produced a hard-fought performance to overcome Togo’s Winner Gakpo 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in a semifinal that lasted almost three hours.

The final promises to be a thrilling contest between two of West Africa’s emerging tennis talents, with both players now just one victory away from lifting the J30 Girls’ Singles title in Accra.

The tournament is being organised by Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) under the auspices of the Ghana Tennis Federation.
