Kuzivaishe Chapepa and Pippa Fennis Book J60 Accra Girls' Singles Final Showdown

ACCRA, Ghana — Zimbabwe's Kuzivaishe Chapepa has booked her place in the girls' singles final of the TFG/ITF World Tennis Junior Tour – J60 Accra after defeating Elodie Agnamba of the United States in straight sets.

Chapepa produced a composed performance to overcome Agnamba 7-5, 6-1, securing the first spot in the championship match.

She will face Dutch player Pippa Tennis, who also secured her place in the final with a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory over Kudzai Erin Patience Chapepa.

The final now sets up an intriguing rematch, with Pippa having previously defeated Kuzivaishe Chapepa.

With both players having impressed on their way to the championship match, the stage is set for a highly anticipated contest as they meet again with the ITF J60 Accra girls’ singles title at stake.

The girls’ singles final is scheduled for 9:00am today at the National Tennis Centre, Accra Sports Stadium.

The TFG/ITF World Tennis Junior Tour – J60 Accra is jointly organised by Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) and the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF). The tournament is sanctioned by the ITF/World Tennis.

The tournament is to give young tennis players an opportunity to compete internationally, earn valuable ITF junior ranking points, gain high-level match experience and develop along the pathway towards professional tennis.
