merican third seed Sydney Wright [3] will take on Poland’s top seed Alisha Ndukwu [1] in the Girls’ Singles final of the ongoing World Tennis Tour Juniors – J100 Accra.
The final is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 10:00am at the National Tennis Centre, Accra Sports Stadium, Accra, Ghana.
Wright secured her place in the championship match after producing a dominant performance against second seed Milana Kolesova of Russia, defeating her 6-3, 6-0 in straight sets.
The American third seed controlled the contest and closed out the second set without dropping a game to book her place in the final.
Ndukwu, meanwhile, had to dig deep to overcome Pippa Fennis of the Netherlands in a thrilling three-set battle.
The Polish top seed won the opening set 6-2 before Fennis responded strongly to take the second set 6-1. Ndukwu, however, regained her composure in the decider, racing to a 6-0 victory to secure her place in the final.
The stage is now set for an intriguing clash between the tournament’s top seed and third seed, with both players aiming to finish their J100 Accra campaign with the Girls’ Singles title.
