China's Ruoyu Hua and Ghana's Gwendolyn Duvor Klu have been crowned boys' and girls' singles champions respectively at the opening week of the J30 Accra – ITF World Tennis Junior Tour.
One of the major changes this year is the introduction of a round-robin format. Players have been divided into eight groups of four, with each group winner advancing to the single-elimination quarterfinals. This format guarantees every player a minimum of three matches, providing valuable competitive experience and more opportunities for young athletes to develop.
